Seamlessly integrated into the jersey construction, the AFD system utilizes low-friction sliding surfaces to facilitate an internal sliding motion in the event of contact with the ground. With less rotational and oblique stress being transmitted to the shoulder area, the AFD system aims at reducing the risk of injury to the rider.
